DevTools functioned as a streamlined interface to admin console capabilities in TRIRIGA. The creator developed custom classes implementing key admin functions, integrated them via classloader, constructed workflows, collaborated extensively with a UX Developer, and released it as a perceptive application.

The creator aspired to incorporate workflow instance management tools but this remained unrealized.

Usage Context

Most customer servers are managed by dedicated SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) teams, who sometimes oversee the admin console to prevent developer mishaps. DevTools enabled developers to independently execute safe server functions previously restricted to SRE teams, reducing coordination overhead for both groups while maintaining system security and stability.
